Erika had caught wind of a jumping day at Camelot Arena. She loaded all four of her horses into her trailer. Kerry and Waff were going to jump, Day was going just to school dressage, and Mary was in the trailer just to get off the farm.
She jumped in her truck and drove to Camelot, a mere ten minutes away. Erika parked her trailer and got her horses out, making sure to tie Waff to the opposite side of the trailer as Mary and Day. She walked over to the arena to survey the activity. There were a few horses and riders already in the arena, some she recognized.
Erika pushed off the railing and walked back to her trailer. Waff would be first, since he was the most likely to pull the trailer over if he didn't get worked soon. She brushed him off and tossed her saddle to his tall back, tightened the girth, and pulled his boots on. Erika removed his halter and slipped his bridle on, then quickly tossed the reins over his head and mounted up.
Waff's quick, long striding walk took them to the arena quickly. Erika guided him in the gate and struck up a trot to the left.

Peyton Savannah Undersummer sat leaned back against the side of a white trailer, Coke bottle in hand. Her view from the hill was spectacular and she could see every inch of Camelot Arena. Oh no, Peyton watched a rider fly around the arena, barely staying on her horse. Finally she bailed and landed back flat in the sand. Peyton flinched. That must be embarrassing. Suddenly a huge bang escaped the trailer, making Peyton jump. She turned around to a small black face peering out the little window. Autumn had been a complete jerk the whole way here, always tossing her little feet around. She wasn't scared, just bored. "Shut up, will you?" Peyton laughed a little and patted the yearling at the top of her blaze. She took a sip of her coke and surveyed the arena again. Was that a stallion? It was. Maybe she'd ride Scarlet later, and just bring down Autumn now. Peyton had also brought Summer, but more as a comfort to the filly than anything. The mare was used to surroundings like this. Peyton tossed the now empty bottle in the bed of the navy blue truck. She unlatched the front of the trailer and stepped in, looking at the organized chaos. Finally she found it. A dark brown leather halter with a shiny, new brass nameplate. Autumn Haze. Peyton walked to the middle of the trailer and turned to face the huge black filly. She'd grown tremendously over the past few months, and was expected to be in the high seventeen hand mark. Peyton buckled the halter on her head and opened the chest bar, leading Autumn out and into the open green space. The pair followed a little dirt path going down to the ring. From a distance she could see a girl trotting a bay. Peyton thought she recognized her. Maybe not, though. Autun pricked her ears at all the sights and sounds. She spooked at a small yellow butterfly that landed on her nose, but then continued on like a pro. Once down there, Peyton propped her elbows on he fence and let the lead chain out a bit so the filly could graze. (OCC: Fudge. Just realized that its an indoor ring. Isn't it? I'll repost if it is:/)

Erika posted easily to Waff's long trot. He was a dream to ride, and even better to jump; it was only the sheer power behind his movement that prevented him from going hunter instead of jumper. As it was, Waff was on his way to the Grand Prix. Erika glanced over the riders in the arena, noticing a girl with dirt on her shirt remounting her horse. She grimaced slightly, but upon seeing the girl shaking off the soon-to-be-bruises, Erika refocused on her own horse.
She and Waff were halfway around the covered arena when she spotted a familiar face. Peyton was here, and whose beautiful filly was she holding? Erika wracked her brain for a moment before she remembered that Autumn was Waff's first foal. Abruptly, Erika pulled him to a halt on the rail close to Peyton.
"Is that Autumn? She's big already!" Erika shifted her reins into one hand and scratched Waff's withers to keep his attention. "She's going to be a really fantastic jumper. You're not thinking of selling her, are ya?" Erika laughed.
